A great workshop to create a really individual cushion cover. Gain confidence in using a sewing machine and learn sewing techniques including seams, seam finishing, inserting a zip and applique techniques.
Classes include group demonstrations as well as individual guidance and support. There are a maximum of five students per class, so everyone gets lots of attention.
Make time to sew with other enthusiasts, learn new skills and produce something truly original to take home and find a place for your cushion to show off your skills with pride.
Please bring your own sewing machine, as its best to learn on your own mahcine. Machines are available, please request on booking. Please bring your own equiment - list will be provided on booking. Fabric and threads included.
Suitable for absolute beginners and those wishing to get back into sewing.
Creative applique cushion workshop
Once made, a booking cannot be transferred to an alternative date. If for any reason you are unable to attend please feel free to send a substitute. If you book a workshop for several days duration please make sure you can attend all days. Please check the dates carefully prior to booking.
All workshops/courses must be paid for in full prior to the workshop start date. Payment can be made by cash, PayPal, credit/debit card or cheques. Whether booking by post or online you are acknowledging that you have read and accept the terms and conditions. Once a booking has been made, you will receive a confirmation email and information about any materials or equipment required.Cancellations by you: Refunds will only be given under exceptional circumstances and will be considered on an individual basis.
Cancellations by us: In the unlikely event that we have to cancel a workshop/course you will be given at least 24 hours notice and offered a transfer to another date or receive a full refund. We will not be held liable for any other costs or expenses that you may incur in the event of cancellation by us.
