If you have recently bought an overlocker or want to gain confidence and learn more ways of using it, then this is the perfect course for you. Do you waste hours re-threading? or just neaten edges? Master the dreaded threading and understand tension. Learn how to adjust the settings. You'll also learn the easiest way to neaten professional looking seams (much quicker than zigzagging), including corners and curves and how to use your overlocker for hem finishes. Discover how to use your overlocker for lettuce edging, stitching stretch fabric, rolled hems and using decorative threads.

During the day you will produce a range of samples, using different techniques and fabrics. All fabrics for samples will be provided, but please bring your overlocker in good working order. Suitable for absolute beginners and those wishing to gain confidence in using an overlocker and learn more ways of using it for stretch and woven fabrics.

Once made, a booking cannot be transferred to an alternative date. If for any reason you are unable to attend please feel free to send a substitute. If you book a workshop for several days duration please make sure you can attend all days. Please check the dates carefully prior to booking.

Cancellations by you: Refunds will only be given under exceptional circumstances and will be considered on an individual basis.

Cancellations by us: In the unlikely event that we have to cancel a workshop/course you will be given at least 24 hours notice and offered a transfer to another date or receive a full refund. We will not be held liable for any other costs or expenses that you may incur in the event of cancellation by us.
