6 Week class - Perfect Fit: Adjusting Sewing Patterns for a Professional Finish

Can you sew simple garments, but often struggle with achieving a good fit on your projects? Maybe you are full or small busted, or have a broad back, narrow shoulders or full thighs…fitting issues can be endless!
This class will show you how to take accurate body measurements and how to alter patterns so that you don’t lose the design of the garment. You will learn how to make a toile and ‘fine tune’ the fit, making any further pattern adjustments to achieve a perfect fit!
You will need to have some experience with dressmaking, to have some understanding of how patterns work. You will need to bring a pattern with you that you would like to fit.
Pattern and materials required. Advice and information will be given on booking. Specialist tools and equipment will be provided.

Once made, a booking cannot be transferred to an alternative date. If for any reason you are unable to attend please feel free to send a substitute. If you book a workshop for several days duration please make sure you can attend all days. Please check the dates carefully prior to booking.
All workshops/courses must be paid for in full prior to the workshop start date. Payment can be made by cash, PayPal, credit/debit card or cheques. Whether booking by post or online you are acknowledging that you have read and accept the terms and conditions. Once a booking has been made, you will receive a confirmation email and information about any materials or equipment required.Cancellations by you: Refunds will only be given under exceptional circumstances and will be considered on an individual basis.
Cancellations by us: In the unlikely event that we have to cancel a workshop/course you will be given at least 24 hours notice and offered a transfer to another date or receive a full refund. We will not be held liable for any other costs or expenses that you may incur in the event of cancellation by us.
