1 day workshop for absolute beginners, to give you the confidence to use your sewing machine and learn more about its features. Learn how to get a perfect stitch, both straight and patterned on a range of fabrics. You will then learn techniques for stitching straight and accurately, seams, finishing edges, hems and decorative techniques. It’s all about practice and fun, whilst making something original to practice your new found skills. A great way to get to know your sewing machine. Perfect introduction to the beginners skirt, trouser or childrenswear dressmaking course. Please bring your own sewing machine, as its best to learn on your own machine. Machines are available, please request on booking. Fabric and threads included. All tools and equipment is provided or you may prefer to provide your own. Information will be provided on booking.

Once made, a booking cannot be transferred to an alternative date. If for any reason you are unable to attend please feel free to send a substitute. If you book a workshop for several days duration please make sure you can attend all days. Please check the dates carefully prior to booking.

Cancellations by you: Refunds will only be given under exceptional circumstances and will be considered on an individual basis.

Cancellations by us: In the unlikely event that we have to cancel a workshop/course you will be given at least 24 hours notice and offered a transfer to another date or receive a full refund. We will not be held liable for any other costs or expenses that you may incur in the event of cancellation by us.
