Sew Saturday workshops are a perfect opportunity for you to sew and learn with like-minded people in an inspiring well equipped studio.
Suitable for beginners to advanced.
Make something in a day projects for yourself or gifts : Pyjama bottoms, Robe, Apron, Tote bags, Bag, Make up bag, Wine carriors, cushions, hot water bottle covers, learn applique techniques, child's dress or trousers... just some ideas.
Improvers and advanced dressmakers - learn pattern alteration techniques, develop your knowledge and learn new skills and professional techniques and tips.
Beginners - develop your sewing skills and start making clothes (womens, childrens, mens) or create lovely unique craft items - bags, toys, bunting, cushions or projects of your choice.
Perhaps you would just like to practice and make some samples, start a new project or finish something you have already started and not sure how to do the next stage – the choice is yours!.
Like to learn about fabrics, understanding patterns, altering patterns to fit, cutting out fabric, construction techniques - darts, inserting an invisible zip, overlocking, collars, hem or buttonholes? These are just a few suggestions.
Demonstrations and expert advice given to help you learn the professional approach.
