Weekly class for absolute beginners, to give you the confidence to use your sewing machine. Learn how to get a perfect stitch, both straight and patterned on a range of fabrics. You will then learn techniques for stitching straight and accurately, seams, finishing edges, hems and decorative techniques. It’s all about practice and fun, whilst making different mini projects to practice your new found skills. Perfect introduction to the beginners dressmaking course to learn how to make skirts, trouser or childrenswear. Please bring your own sewing machine, as its best to learn on your own machine.

Machines are available, please request on booking.

Fabric and threads included.

All tools and equipment is provided or you may prefer to provide your own. Information will be provided on booking.

Suitable for absolute beginners and those wishing to get back into sewing.

Once made, a booking cannot be transferred to an alternative date. If for any reason you are unable to attend please feel free to send a substitute. If you book a workshop for several days duration please make sure you can attend all days. Please check the dates carefully prior to booking.

All workshops/courses must be paid for in full prior to the workshop start date. Payment can be made by cash, PayPal, credit/debit card or cheques. Whether booking by post or online you are acknowledging that you have read and accept the terms and conditions. Once a booking has been made, you will receive a confirmation email and information about any materials or equipment required.

Cancellations by you: Refunds will only be given under exceptional circumstances and will be considered on an individual basis.

Cancellations by us: In the unlikely event that we have to cancel a workshop/course you will be given at least 24 hours notice and offered a transfer to another date or receive a full refund. We will not be held liable for any other costs or expenses that you may incur in the event of cancellation by us.
